Kharkov - Ukraine

This winter I visited Kharkov twice for business to work with a software company to produce our prototype. Kharkov is in the East of Ukraine and boasts 2 million inhabitants.

The underground is pretty good, works well, is cheap, clean. See for yourself. After3 days we started to understand some of the Cyrillic characters. Botanical gardens was our stop.

Mother Russia. Russia built these commemorating the ties between Russa and Ukraien but also the soldiers from WW2.


The markets are e n o r m o u s. Open air (freezing) and kilometers long.


We found a pretty good Jazz club and a great lounge bar ("Koffein") with the best drinks we ever had. Try the "Italian" or "French punsch"!

"Russian" is what we call this in German. These are pictures from the staircase of our appartment. And these are pretty good ones in one of the best areas.
